We accomplish our mission through cultivating and influencing STEM education to assure rigorous instruction and real-world experiences in STEM that will allow students to perform in a highly-technical 21st century where they engage in multi-disciplinary endeavors and reasoned problem-solving on a daily basis.

Goals-
Identify and improve STEM-education initiatives in Washington, participating with partners in all regions of the state to build a network of shared ideas, experiences, and best practices for the betterment of the entire educational system.
Provide and facilitate an innovative STEM knowledge network engaging all of Washington State’s formal and informal educational assets to continuously improve STEM curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional development, leadership and community engagement.
Identify and evaluate funding opportunities and actively participate in development campaigns
Organize and/or sponsor activities that support fundraising for Delta High School and other Board directed projects and programs.
Develop a strategy to design, develop, fund and begin construction of a permanent facility for Delta High School to replace the interim facility prior to the time the interim facility exceeds its capacity or 2014.
Develop policies that will promote the long-term funding of the Foundation’s operations while maximizing the Foundation’s ability to respond to the needs of STEM education in the State of Washington.
